and Drones
Unlike many consumer-grade ToF sensors, HM-LD1-NV maintains stable ranging performance even under intense ambient illumination.
Making it ideal for outdoor autonomous robots, agricultural machines, UAVs and mobile platforms.
Stable ranging up to 8 meters under 80 klux sunlight. Ideal for outdoor robots, UAVs and agriculture.
Captures weak reflected photons for accurate measurement even on low-reflectivity targets.
Outputs depth maps and point clouds for obstacle avoidance, navigation and perception.
Supports UART, UVC and UDP interfaces with SDKs for Windows/Linux and Linux (ARM) platforms.
940 nm VCSEL illumination meets Class 1 eye safety standard for safe operation.
Only 28g with compact size, perfect for drones, robots and mobile platforms.
HM-LD1-NV provides real-time 3D distance perception for drones, enabling obstacle detection and collision avoidance during flight. Its compact size and lightweight design make it suitable for UAV applications where weight, power consumption, and reliable perception are critical.
HM-LD1-NV helps robots understand their surroundings through real-time 3D depth sensing. It provides accurate distance information for obstacle detection, navigation assistance, and autonomous movement in complex environments.
HM-LD1-NV provides depth-based perception without capturing RGB images, helping protect user privacy in human-centric applications. By using 3D distance information, it enables presence detection, movement tracking, and human activity recognition while avoiding identifiable image data.
With high-resolution depth data and accurate distance measurement, HM-LD1-HV enables reliable hand and finger gesture recognition. The sensor captures 3D spatial information to support intuitive touchless interaction and next-generation human-machine interfaces.

DToF LiDAR measures distance by calculating the flight time of laser pulses. With SPAD photon detection and VCSEL laser technology, it provides accurate and reliable 3D perception in different environments.
The PPS pin is a 3.3V rising edge sync input. Your host MCU generates a 1Hz trigger signal, and the sensor returns the relative milliseconds offset between each measurement and the latest sync event.
- Without PPS trigger: the timestamp is absolute (time since power-up).
- With PPS trigger: the timestamp is relative (offset < 1000ms).
- The returned offset is always positive.
MRP DToF LiDAR helps reduce hardware and development costs through a compact design, low power consumption, open SDK support, and easy integration with platforms like Raspberry Pi and Jetson.
Our technical consultation supports product selection, hardware integration, SDK usage, ROS development, and application optimization, helping customers accelerate product development.
MRP provides SDKs, demos, and development resources. Connect the LiDAR through UART/UVC/UDP, access distance data, and integrate it into applications such as obstacle avoidance, navigation, and 3D perception.
“I did some quick tests with the UVC sensor yesterday and I’m quite amazed by the data quality. It’s probably the best dToF I’ve tested in that segment.”
“HM-LD1-NV is easy to integrate with our robotic platform. The point cloud quality and ranging performance are excellent.”
“We needed a DToF sensor that could operate reliably under 30klux-70klux ambient light conditions. HM-LD1-NV 3D DToF LiDAR delivered strong outdoor light immunity, stable ranging, and multi-zone perception. After evaluation, we purchased 10 units for our robotics development projects.”
“We evaluated HM-LD1-NV 3D DToF LiDAR and were impressed by its performance, compact design, and affordable cost. The continuous development of the HM-LD1-NV SDK makes integration easier for robotics developers. Cost-effective 3D LiDAR solutions like HM-LD1-NV can help more teams adopt reliable 3D perception technology.”
